John A. Kvale CFA, CFP, is the founder of J.K. Financial, Inc. and with 22 years of industry experience is currently the president of J.K.Financial, a fee only financial planning and wealth management firm. J.K. Financial specializes in wealth management, adhering to unique approaches to investing in the capital markets. The company has a global presence, serving individual and institutional clients across the United States as well as several foreign countries. John is co-author of a Quarterly Wealth Management and Financial Planning Newsletter which is distributed to clients and investors across the country. He actively analyzes and updates ideas and investing on $treet-¢ents.com, a community blogsite. John appeared 
on Good Morning America as the winning planner for ABC's Frugal Family Challenge, co-sponsored by USA Today. He recently concluded a term as president for the CFADFW Society, the local society in Dallas representing the CFA Institute. John began his financial planning career 20 years ago in Dallas, and resides there with his wife, Pamela, and children, Sophia and Pierce.
Donald W. Capone III, CFA, currently has over 10 years of market experience both as a Trader and Portfolio Manager for J.K. Financial. Donald has been a part of the J.K. Financial Team since 2002, prior to 2002 Donald severed as an Intern for J.K. Financial during the 4 years he attended college. Donald graduated from The University of Texas McCombs School of Business, with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. Since graduation Donald has helped develop and implement J.K. Financial’s portfolio allocation process. Donald has used the tools and knowledge he learned from both his undergraduate degree and time in the CFA program to help develop a greater understanding of the allocation and valuation techniques required to effectively 
manage a complete portfolio. In his free time Donald enjoys spending time with his wonderful wife Randi and their dog Zoe. His is also an avid runner who has competed in numerous 5k and 10k races, with an ultimate goal of completing a marathon. When Donald is not behind the computer screens researching the next investment idea, he can be found on the golf course working to improve his game.
Cathy Kitzman, office manager, native Texan, and long time Dallas resident. Cathy spends her days at the office in constant contact with the company's back office team, processing paperwork, solving issues, and confirming transactions. She also keeps the J.K. Financial team 
together on the same page, and is the voice and face of the office. Cathy has been runnng the office for over five years and in her spare time enjoys spending time at the pool, with her husband Mike, daughter Kaitlin, and her dog Cody.
Kathy Colvin, after teaching journalism for 30 years, Kathy started a new 
adventure as a Publicist/Editor. She is co-editor of the newsletter for J.K. Financial, sister of John Kvale, and lives in Ennis Texas, with her husband, Sam.
